FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The frequency depends on a few factors, including the size of your tank and the number of people in your home. As a general rule, we recommend having your tank pumped every 3-5 years. Regular pumping is the best way to prevent costly backups and system failures.

Call Arrows professionals for an inspection at (662) 231-1328

Yes. The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) requires a permit and soil and site evaluation. This should be done when construction begins on your new home or as soon as possible for a system replacement at your existing home. Arrows can submit the permit application and take care of the rest for a fee of $579 which includes all fees required by MSDH. This fee must be paid up front to Arrows before the process begins.

The fee covers the following:
1. Once you apply for a permit by completing the online application, Arrows will submit the permit to MSDH. (The state’s website has a pdf file we could add here- Andy will have to tell me which one is the right one for homeowners)
2. Arrows will schedule the soil and site evaluation with MSDH. The results will determine the recommended on-site wastewater disposal system options for your property.
3. Arrows will schedule the installation of the appropriate new system.
4. Arrows will schedule the final inspection. Once the permit is approved and the system is installed, we will schedule the inspection with MSDH. The final approval document will be issued after the system is installed and inspected.
5. Arrows technicians will communicate every step with the homeowner to keep them informed.
